Mutso Castles

Mutso - The ancient fortress-village of Khevsureti was one whole defense system and is one of the most popular destinations in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.

According to legend, inhabitants were praying at the Archangel Broliskalo shrine. They were famous warriors and hunters and kept treasures dedicated to the shrine for centuries. After the beginning of the plague, the treasure guardians and flag-bearers died before they could find a decent young man to hand over the secret. The hidden treasure and flag in the inaccessible rocks of Mutso have remained a legend and are waiting for the chosen one.
