Meeting with Czech expert

On October 20, Mtskheta-Mtaineti Destination Management Initiative (Mtskheta-Mtianeti DMI) organized a meeting with the representatives of Mtskheta, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Kazbegi City halls, as well as the Administration of State Representative, Mtskheta Tourism Information Center and Cultural Heritage and Tourism Development Center of Dusheti Municipality on the need for integrated management of tourist destinations.

The meeting was addressed by the Czech expert on sustainable development of tourism - Mr. Jaromír POLÁŠEK, who is the head of the Tourism Authority of South Bohemia, Czech Republic.

The meeting once again underlined the importance of having a well-defined strategy and proper market positioning.

Mr. POLÁŠEK is on a 4-day visit to Georgia, during which he will visit all four municipalities of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region and get acquainted with the current situation and needs on the spot.
