Lomisoba is celebrated in Georgia today. This holiday is especially important for the population living in the mountains.

Lomisoba is celebrated every year, in the 7th week after Easter. People from different parts of the country gather in the village of Mleta to celebrate it. Lomisoba has been celebrated since pre-Christian times, although it is now counted among Christian holidays.

Lomisa is the main shrine of the population of Mtiuleti, Ksani, and Khevi, therefore Lomisoba is of special importance for the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.
