Kazbegoba

At the end of summer or early autumn in Stepantsminda, Kazbegi municipality, a public holiday - "Kazbegoba" is held.

The holiday serves the protection of the cultural heritage of Khevi, as well as the development and popularization of Georgian folklore.

The event is educational as well as entertaining and includes events such as business fairs, farmers' agro-festival, demonstration of Georgian traditional martial arts, exhibition and sale of works of masters of fine and applied arts, children's entertainment programs, Georgian games corner, theatrical performances (Berikaoba, drum show).
