Sabaduri forest is located in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, on the territory of Mtskheta and Tianeti municipalities. It is part of Tbilisi National Park, which is the first national park in Georgia. It was established in 1973, but later lost its national park status and was re-established in 2007 from the part of the former national park and the Saguramo reserve.
Walking in the Sabaduri forest is always enjoyable, although it becomes especially magical in autumn when the leaves start falling and everything around is in red, yellow, and gold colors. Sabaduri is also beautiful in winter when everything is covered in snow and there is white silence all around.
Sabaduri forest has tourist infrastructure, picnic, and camping places, as well as information boards.
